‘Earth without art is eh,’ a statement that strongly influences my perspective on artwork. Being surrounded by creatively inclined individuals growing up, the limitations on the type of media I used were boundless; as long as it could be utilized creatively to produce artwork that conveys a story or message and interacts with the audience. At a young age, I started creating art as a visual outlet of self-expression to communicate my feelings, thoughts, and opinions. As I continue to grow through Arts on the Block, I hope to further develop my voice as an artist and inspire the next generation of creative youths.
