Summer Open House Gallery
YAM’ers made works of art by drawing, painting, folding paper, modeling clay, digital design, and much more. We learned about bugs like cicadas and ants, prehistoric animals, microbes, superheroes, and dreamscapes among others.
TAP apprentices learned art skills such as color theory, observational drawing, composition, Elements of Art and Principles of Design, and digital drawing using Procreate. They also tackled mosaic art; tool and material use, andamento and opus, designing and planning, laying and gluing mosaic tiles, and grouting.
Studio Crew’s virtual gallery showcases work in varied media and techniques such as graphite and color pencil drawing, acrylic painting, photography, digital design, and music. The exhibition was curated by Jadyn Covington and features a 3D gallery.
